Interns

KLM Distribution is always accepting resumes for internships. We offer in-house and telecommuting internships and our programs are open to anyone enrolled in a business, marketing or music program!

The Internship at KLM Distribution can be filled by anyone, anywhere in the United States with daily access to a computer and phone. You will be coordinating marketing efforts and data entry, as well as researching new leads and keeping progress reports of all of our current and potential clients. Furthermore, interns will be helping with the day-to-day operations of KLM Distribution including the work involved with our current releases and signed labels.

Duties Include:
- Submitting singles to different publications for print and online reviews.
- Posting updates and blogs to artist websites.
- Soliciting new clients for label services.
- Scanning music news to gather information about releases (upcoming, in-progress, and post-street date).
- Data entry into online portal, gathering lists, and sending out email blasts to our labels worldwide.
- Creation of new, innovative strategies for marketing and solicitation of KLM’s services.
- Maintain logs of all email contacts, and status updates of each potential client through our web portal.
- Additional duties may include release maintenance, gathering release/promotional materials, proofreading artwork, and light label relations work with our current label roster.

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in email, web-browsing, word processing and database software. (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Daily access to hi-speed internet, phone and personal computer.
- Proof of enrollment in a marketing, music or business program at a nationally accredited college, university or trade school.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Self-motivated, able to complete tasks quickly, thoroughly and as directed.
